NDIS Counselling — Online and In-Person (Melbourne)
For young people and adults who need a counsellor that actually listens. For teams who want the right fit for their clients.
Whether you're an NDIS participant looking for counselling for yourself – or you’re a support coordinator, carer, or allied health professional helping someone access the right kind of support – this is a space built around people, not just plans.
I work with people aged 14 and over who want support that’s flexible, honest, and genuinely affirming. This might mean working on anxiety, burnout, or trauma, building confidence and communication skills, or just having a space where they don’t have to explain or mask who they are.
Sessions are tailored to each individual, with a focus on building trust and working together on what matters most to them.
What You Might Want to Talk About
Counselling through NDIS can support a wide range of goals — whether you're working on your mental health, social confidence, or everyday life skills.
Some of the areas I often support clients with include:
-
Emotional regulation and anxiety
-
Identity, self-confidence and expression
-
Social skills and communication
-
Navigating friendships, relationships, and boundaries
-
Building routines, motivation, and independence
-
Employment-focused support (e.g. confidence, interviews, resumes)
-
Managing stress, burnout, and system overwhelm
What You Might Want to Talk About
Emotional Regulation & Coping Skills
When things feel overwhelming – whether it’s anxiety, shutdowns, meltdowns, or just a sense of being stuck – we’ll work together to build tools that actually help.
That might mean slowing things down, finding ways to feel safer in your body, or creating strategies for when things get too much.
Identity, Confidence & Self-Understanding
This is a space where you don’t need to mask or explain yourself.
We can explore how you see yourself, what matters to you, and how to feel more confident being your full self – especially if the world has made that hard.
Communication, Boundaries & Relationships
Whether you're trying to express what you need, navigate tricky relationships, or build better social connections, we can work through it together.
We’ll explore boundaries, scripts, and real-life communication strategies — at a pace that feels okay for you.
Why Counselling Might Help with Your NDIS Journey
Living with a disability or mental health challenge can come with a lot — navigating systems, burnout, identity stuff, tricky social situations, or just feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes it helps just to have a space where you can talk things through with someone who gets it.
Counselling can offer a space to slow down, feel safe, and be heard — without pressure to perform or explain everything perfectly. Whether it’s figuring out who you are, building confidence, understanding emotions, or learning ways to cope with stress or relationships, we’ll work together on tools that actually fit your life.
I won’t come in with a one-size-fits-all plan. I’ll meet you (or your client) where you’re at and support you to figure out what works — and what feels possible — at a pace that makes sense.
